Top 5 things I love about Sulphur Springs

Been meaning to ask this. The median home value here is around $188,200, which is actually reasonable. Median household income is $56,457, which feels about average for the area. Homes are going for about $188,200 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Low taxes
- Walkable downtown
- Active local events

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Not very walkable
- Not enough green space
The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.
