I'm a 35-year-old restaurant manager and Crime rate is something to consider -Sultan sits at 151.9 per 100K. The median home value here is around $455,500, which is pretty steep. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Dallas about 6 years ago. The main reasons were weather and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Strong job market in several industries
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are wild, gas is solid.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Feel free to reach out with questions..
