Summerfield housing prices -when will it stop?

Hey folks, I'm a college student here and Crime rate is something to consider -Summerfield sits at 176.3 per 100K. Median household income is $92,042, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a small town city with about 15,635 people. The unemployment rate is 6.0%, which is about average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cheers. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.
