What Summerfield does better than anywhere else

Anyone else feel this way? I'm single, late 20s, and You can expect to pay around $2,032 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 15,635 people. Poverty rate is 9.0%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Summerfield sits at 176.3 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Diverse community
- Active local events

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- High property taxes
- Boring for young people
- Far from major airports
Anyone in a similar situation? Thanks! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Bought a house here in 2021 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
