Hey folks, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a small town city with about 22,512 people. With a population of 22,512, Summit is a small town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Appreciate any input.

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much competitive but now it's challenging.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Eastside. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in marketing. If you're in education you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like seafood.
