Relocating to Summit, NJ -pros and cons?

Alright, I'm a 28-year-old data analyst and Household incomes average around $199,107 in Summit. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Is this normal for Summit? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Boston about 1 years ago. The main reasons were family and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Rising rent and home prices

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are competitive, gas is underrated.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. No regrets on my end..
