Hello, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Crime rate is something to consider -Summit View sits at 279.4 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,813 for rent here. Median household income is $103,910, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Any advice would be great. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's exactly what I was looking for. Internet is excellent in most areas.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The safety is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Midtown. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in tech. If you're in education you might struggle.
People: Generally excellent. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.
Feel free to reach out with questions..

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a accountant who relocated here from Boston about 1 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good internet infrastructure
Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Chain restaurants dominate
Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are pricey, gas is underrated.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from San Francisco about 9 years ago. The main reasons were school and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are wild, gas is improving.
Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
