What surprised you most about Sun City West?

I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $1,658/month for a decent place. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Has anyone dealt with this?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Atlanta about 10 years ago. The main reasons were weather and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Affordable housing options
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is challenging.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Happy to answer more specific questions..
