I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $1,374 for rent here. It's a a smaller city city with about 36,455 people. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
