Anyone work in healthcare in Suncrest?

Hi all, The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Let me know your thoughts. Looking forward to hearing from you all. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The outdoor recreation is genuinely pretty good and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Seattle, be prepared for the culture shock. traffic is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much competitive but now it's improving.

I've lived in North for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good internet infrastructure
- The community vibe scene is average

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Boston about 11 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are competitive, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 6 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

I've lived in North for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The outdoor recreation scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.
