Is it worth buying in Sunland Park?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I work in insurance and Rent is about $770/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is public transit. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I have mixed feelings honestly. Good luck with whatever you decide..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
