What to expect moving to Sunnyside?

Hello, The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $114,500 in Sunnyside. The weather takes some getting used to. What are your go-to spots? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've lived in Uptown for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good airport with direct flights
- Strong sense of community
- The weather scene is solid

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for singles. Good luck with whatever you decide..
