Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm originally from Omaha and Crime rate is something to consider -Sunnyside sits at 142.5 per 100K. Poverty rate is 15.2%, which is higher than I expected. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cheers. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
