Sunnyvale quality of life — am I missing something?

So, You can expect to pay around $3,065 for rent here. Poverty rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $3,065/month for a decent place. With a population of 153K, Sunnyvale is a mid-size city. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Worth the trade-offs? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Came here for retirement and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The safety is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great farm-to-table places. it's exactly what I was looking for.
