Anyone else love living in Sunrise?

I relocated for work and It's a a smaller city city with about 96,633 people. Household incomes average around $72,107 in Sunrise. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Worth the trade-offs? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value dating scene, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely decent and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Midtown) is established and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Baltimore, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
