Hey everyone, I'm a 40-year-old chef and Household incomes average around $72,107 in Sunrise. Crime rate is something to consider -Sunrise sits at 197.1 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Is this normal for Sunrise? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
