Life in Sunrise Manor as a young professional

I'm originally from Dallas and Poverty rate is 17.6%, which is higher than I expected. Crime rate is something to consider — Sunrise Manor sits at 776.7 per 100K. Average temperature is around 69°F, so the weather is moderate. The median home value here is around $290,900, which seems about average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Great weather
- Good schools
- Lots of new development
- Active local events

Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- High property taxes
- Lack of diversity
- Far from major airports
- Homelessness issues downtown
What would you do? TIA! The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
