I'm a 28-year-old social worker and Median household income is $90,529, which feels pretty solid for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The pet-friendliness is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I have mixed feelings honestly. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Active local events and festivals
- The walkability scene is tough
The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Bought a house here in 2024 and I love the pace of life here. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Used to live on the Cedar Grove side, now on the Greenfield side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.
