Moving to Sunset Hills for work -advice?

Hey everyone, I'm a college student here and Poverty rate is 1.2%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $3,454 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Sunset Hills sits at 129.7 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I've lived in Midtown for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Strong job market in several industries
- The public transit scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Hope this helps!.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The healthcare is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..
