Working remotely from Superior

First post here. Been living here since 2014. The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $795,500, which is pretty steep. Rent is about $2,355/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Superior sits at 75.4 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Minneapolis about 13 years ago. The main reasons were school and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are stable, gas is average.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Hope this helps!.
