Biggest downsides of living in Superior?

Hey everyone, I'm single, late 30s, and Homes are going for about $69,300 on average. It's a a small town city with about 1,833 people. You can expect to pay around $613 for rent here. Household incomes average around $61,852 in Superior. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Should I be concerned? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from LA about 10 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Decent public transit for the size
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are developing, gas is tough.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is outdoor recreation. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The nightlife is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
