Most overrated things about Sutherlin

Random thought, I'm originally from Memphis and Median household income is $51,860, which feels on the lower side for the area. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Anyone in a similar situation? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 3 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
