Anyone regret moving to Swampscott?

Hello, The unemployment rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $690,800 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I wrong here? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 4 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
