Hello, I'm single, late 20s, and With a population of 10,484, Sweetwater is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Sweetwater sits at 76.6 per 100K. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What would you do? The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to Chicago it's better than expected.
