Best industries in Sycamore right now

Alright, I'm a remote worker and Crime rate is something to consider -Sycamore sits at 121.2 per 100K. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Am I wrong here? Thanks for reading.

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Seattle about 13 years ago. The main reasons were school and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are growing, gas is solid.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Definitely worth checking out..
