What's it really like living in Syosset?

Hey, Military spouse here. With a population of 18,274, Syosset is a small town. Homes are going for about $854,500 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Moved here from Denver about 14 years ago. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Still getting used to weather but Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 5 years here, that's my honest assessment.
