Bought a house here in 2017 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Came here for school and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The nightlife is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want dating scene, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options
- The school system scene is improving

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for retirees. Feel free to reach out with questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..
