Thinking about relocating to Syracuse from Sacramento
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I work in logistics and You can expect to pay around $998 for rent here. Poverty rate is 24.2%, which is higher than I expected. Crime rate is something to consider — Syracuse sits at 792.6 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cheers. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
