Median household income is $132,459, which feels pretty solid for the area. Has anyone dealt with this?

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. job market used to be much affordable but now it's solid.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The housing market is genuinely better than expected and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Fairview) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
