Syracuse job market vs St. Louis

Military spouse here. The median home value here is around $531,600, which is pretty steep. The city has invested a lot in new development. What would you do? Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much developing but now it's decent.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 14 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
