Things Syracuse needs to improve

Household incomes average around $132,459 in Syracuse. Median household income is $132,459, which feels pretty solid for the area. You can expect to pay around $2,006 for rent here. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Syracuse sits at 80.1 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Diverse community
- Low taxes
- Easy commute
- Strong sense of community

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Not very walkable
- Limited dining options
- Boring for young people
Am I wrong here? TIA! Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to.

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Meadowbrook area are average. Kids love it here.

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are wild. You get used to it after the first year.
