I work in logistics and Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a contractor who relocated here from Charlotte about 11 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Active local events and festivals
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited high-paying job options
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are competitive, gas is better than expected.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. No regrets on my end..
