What's it really like living in Tainter Lake?

I relocated for work and Crime rate is something to consider -Tainter Lake sits at 254.3 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $883 for rent here. Rent is about $883/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Pros:
- Good job market
- Good schools
- Low taxes
- Plenty of shopping options

Cons:
- Rising rent prices
- Sprawl everywhere
- High property taxes
- Not enough green space
Thoughts? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up.
