Best and worst neighborhoods in Takoma Park

Alright, I'm single, late 30s, and With a population of 17,522, Takoma Park is a small town. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I overthinking this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Baltimore it's challenging.
