Studio apartments in Tallassee -options?

OK so My partner and I are Homes are going for about $138,600 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Lakewood. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in construction. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like seafood.

No regrets on my end..

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The healthcare is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Boston about 7 years ago. The main reasons were weather and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good internet infrastructure
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Summers can be brutally hot

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are pricey, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from LA about 6 years ago. The main reasons were weather and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Rising rent and home prices

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are competitive, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
