Random thought, I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. The unemployment rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. With a population of 71,887, Tamarac is a smaller city. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thanks! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The healthcare is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Salt Lake City, be prepared for the culture shock. nightlife is completely different here. And Not a lot of cultural diversity.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
