Rent vs buy in Tamarac -what makes sense?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. With a population of 71,887, Tamarac is a smaller city. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What do you all think? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
