OK so I've been here for 13 years and Average temperature is around 77--F, so it's warm year-round. The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $78,916 in Tamiami. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Worth the trade-offs? The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
