How much do you pay for rent in Tamiami?

Hey, I'm a remote worker and Average temperature is around 77--F, so it's warm year-round. You can expect to pay around $1,901 for rent here. Household incomes average around $78,916 in Tamiami. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Low crime in most areas
- Good schools
- Close to nature
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Rising rent prices
- Sprawl everywhere
- Limited dining options
- Chain restaurants dominate
Is this normal for Tamiami? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Bought a house here in 2015 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value public transit, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely underrated and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Midtown) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Chicago, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The walkability is genuinely average and I've found the quality of life is solid. My neighborhood (Greenfield) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Denver, be prepared for the culture shock. healthcare is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.
