Tamiami quality of life -am I missing something?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $78,916 in Tamiami. It's a a smaller city city with about 51,201 people. The median home value here is around $451,400, which is pretty steep. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Any advice would be great. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The job market scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. Good luck with whatever you decide..
