Hi all, We're a young couple and Crime rate is something to consider — Tampa sits at 405.0 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $71,302, which feels about average for the area. Rent is about $1,567/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What would you do? Cheers. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
