Hey, Median household income is $119,212, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 15,531, Tanque Verde is a small town. Household incomes average around $119,212 in Tanque Verde. Poverty rate is 1.2%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I wrong here? The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in East. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.
