Random thought, Been living here since 2005. The unemployment rate is 1.2%, which is pretty low. With a population of 10,705, Tarboro is a small town. The median home value here is around $155,500, which is actually reasonable. Median household income is $49,386, which feels on the lower side for the area. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. What would you do? Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
