Planning a move to Tarpon Springs -neighborhoods?
I'm a teacher here and The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,234/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Tarpon Springs sits at 394.7 per 100K. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Anyone in a similar situation? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
