Anyone else feel this way? We're a young couple and It's a a smaller city city with about 25,522 people. Homes are going for about $321,000 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Tarpon Springs sits at 394.7 per 100K. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:

- Low crime in most areas
- Close to nature
- Good healthcare facilities

Cons:
- Limited dining options
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Limited cultural events
Thoughts? Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
