Weekend activities in Tarrytown?

Random thought, You can expect to pay around $2,065 for rent here. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Moved here from Baltimore about 3 years ago. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Still getting used to weather but Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Tampa about 4 years ago. The main reasons were family and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Active local events and festivals
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are growing, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
