Anyone else love living in Taunton?

So, Born and raised here. Poverty rate is 9.7%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Taunton sits at 380.5 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Bought a house here in 2022 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'm a accountant and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Compared to Denver it's decent.
