Healthcare options in Taunton?

Hello, My partner and I are Median household income is $79,715, which feels about average for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Am I overthinking this?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 7 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The weather is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cost of living, you'll love it. The housing market is genuinely challenging and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Downtown) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Portland, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Weather-wise, the summers are challenging and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
