The median home value here is around $246,800, which is actually reasonable. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Worth the trade-offs? The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's exactly what I was looking for. Internet is excellent in most areas.

Moved here from Phoenix about 13 years ago. it was the best decision I ever made. Still getting used to food scene but Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
