Hey, I'm originally from Omaha and It's a a smaller city city with about 59,010 people. The median home value here is around $398,900, which seems about average. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
